Numerous activities in the heart of the Upper Ubaye.
From the Le Mirandol gîte, set off to discover the unspoiled landscapes of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye, in the heart of the Ubaye valley near Barcelonnette. Numerous hikes are accessible nearby, from the family-friendly walk linking Petite Serenne to Grande Serenne to the high mountain routes of the Chambeyron massif.
In summer, the valley also offers opportunities for mountain biking, cycling, climbing, horseback riding, trail running, and whitewater activities. Those interested in heritage can explore the hamlets of the commune, discover their chapels, and enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the Upper Ubaye Valley.
In winter, the landscapes can be explored on snowshoes, cross-country skis, or ski touring. Dog sledding, ski-joëring, and mountain biking on snow round out the activities offered in the Nordic area of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye.

This bar-restaurant, the only one open every evening during the season, is a real gem! Ideally located, with a large shaded terrace and beautiful mountain views, it's run by two charming and very friendly sisters. What's more, the varied menu (local cuisine, salads, and excellent pizzas) is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. Plus, they serve great beer!
